Established on transparency, sustainability, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding cup of coffee, the company has garnered a reputation for its high-quality beans sourced from renowned coffee-producing regions like Brazil, Tanzania, Ethiopia, and Honduras to name a few.

They are a young company in the coffee world, but they are doing big things and I’m excited to share my Coffee Bros review with you today on the blog!

Coffee Bros Review

Coffee Bros offers a full spectrum of coffee from signature blends to single-origins always keeping in mind freshness. There are plenty of roasts to choose from, but at the same time, it doesn’t feel overwhelming which I always appreciate in a coffee company.

I ordered the following:

  • Dark Roast Coffee
  • Medium Roast Coffee
  • Costa Rican Las Lajas
  • Espresso Roast Sample Size

The coffee I had from Coffee Bros was delicious, all of it, but my absolute favorite was the Medium Roast Signature Blend

It was just a good cup of coffee…the type that makes you pause and think, wow that was good. And you happily go back for a second sip and enjoy it again.

It’s a classic flavor profile of brown sugar, red fruit, and hazelnut, but it’s just done right.

I loved this one black and never felt the need to add anything. It was an excellent cup of coffee every time I drank it, and I kept coming back for more.

The signature Dark Roast is your classic dark roast, but done a touch lighter which makes it that much better and more unique.

The flavor profile of dark chocolate, creamy caramel, and fresh maple syrup made this truly divine. The Dark Roast is processed with a combination of natural and wet-hulled processes

I enjoyed this roast black but found it was the perfect blend to use for coffee drinks as well, especially those using chocolate or maple syrup as they brought out the delicious flavor profiles of this coffee.

The Espresso Roast Coffee, although a sample size, was enjoyable and had notes of strawberry, sugar cane, and vanilla.

Espresso Roasts aren’t normally my taste and I don’t have an espresso machine, but for a sample size, I couldn’t resist trying this one in my drip coffee maker. It was great and did not taste charred or over-roasted like some espresso roasts tend to do.

If you have an espresso machine, you have to give this one a try. And if you want something even darker, Coffee Bros has a Dark Espresso Roast as well.

Lastly, I tried the Costa Rican single-origin which Coffee Bros lists as an Adventurous roast

The coffee for this is a single-origin is sourced exclusively from the Las Lajas farm in Costa Rica and this is the second year Coffee Bros has sourced from the region. It has flavor notes of berry, cocoa, and toffee and the coffee packs a punch.

You can also find this specific coffee as a component in the Holiday Blend offered by Coffee Bros.

Overall, it’s tasty and unique and fits the “Adventurous” roast description as it’s unlike other Costa Rica coffees I’ve tried before.

Pros to Coffee Bros

Coffee Bros does a lot of things right, specifically when it comes to sourcing, quality, and roasting. Some highlights include:

  • A strong emphasis on ethical and sustainable practices, working directly with coffee farmers.
  • Meticulous roasting process without any trace of bitterness.
  • Coffee that is roasted to order (currently twice a week on Tuesday and Saturday).
  • Wide variety of single-origins and blends.
  • Decaf and Cold Brew options.

Cons to Coffee Bros

Honestly, there aren’t any cons to Coffee Bros in terms of the coffee or even the company. The coffee is delicious.

The only things they could offer that would truly put them over the top are sample sizes (at least for their signature blends) and specialty and/or exclusive-type gift boxes.

I loved the sample size of the Espresso Roast I was able to snag, I just wish there had been more sample sizes to choose from. And, I’m a sucker for a gift box…especially around the holidays because they make the perfect gift!

Other than that, there is no downside to their coffee. I just like when I can sample coffee before committing to a whole bag.

Finally, what I truly love about Coffee Bros is that they go beyond just selling coffee; they are actively involved in building a community of coffee lovers.

Their blog, social media presence, and educational content provide valuable insights into the world of coffee. I also appreciate the way they acknowledge and promote other specialty coffee roasters.

Coffee Bros has carved a niche for itself in the competitive world of coffee providers by combining quality, sustainability, and a commitment to the coffee community.

From ethical sourcing to exceptional flavor profiles, the company delivers on its promise to provide a superior coffee experience.

If you’re on the lookout for a brand that values both the art and science of coffee, Coffee Bros is undoubtedly worth exploring.
